Oh, and a Vizio 37-inch LCD HDTV with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a viewing angle of up to 178 degrees, and an HDMI input.

That last one is a make-or-break item, because I can’t see how a person is supposed to get by when a person can’t watch the new “Futurama” episodes with the wide dynamic range and superior black levels you get from the Vizio’s 500 cd/m2 brightness. It’s a must-have. Not negotiable.

So I guess if I have to make sacrifices elsewhere on my list to accommodate that… I dunno, maybe scratch love of my family. They don’t even like “Futurama.”
