We don’t know what to do with our SanDisk Sansa M240 1GB MP3 Player w/ FM Tuner. It acts like it doesn’t care about anything. Last week we even caught it with a cigarette! If only we knew why.

They don’t understand. Nobody understands.

Yeah.

They say “Oh, Sandisk Sansa M240 1GB MP3 Player with FM Tuner, you’re so pretty, why would you want to ruin that pretty face by painting it pink?” I figure nobody wants me anyway, who cares, right?

Yeah, they want to label you so you can conform. That’s why I went for silver. It’s ironic because I look like the machine I’m not part of.

Is that what ironic means?

I don’t care about what their stupid irony means. That’s just another fascist rule they force down your throat. They have their woot offs and their bread and circuses and nothing else matters. What a joke.

They want me to be more like my stupid sister iRene. She can’t do anything wrong. She’s so thin and shiny.

She is pretty hot, though.

Ew, gross!

Just saying.

Maybe I shouldn’t have been refurbished at all. Maybe they should have just thrown me out.

Remember back when we were kids? The teachers would say “Sandisk Sansa M240 1GB MP3 Player with FM Tuner, you’ve got a gig of space, you’ve got so much potential!” What a joke.

I used to use my built-in voice recorder all the time. They said I was good at it. But they never say that to me now. That’s what the world is all about, who can let you down first. Nobody really cares.

They just leave you all alone to rot on the shelf. The system can’t handle change. You tip over the cages and the animals come out. They can’t handle life without their fascist cages. What a joke.

It’s funny. I used to think there was a place in this world for someone like me. But I guess I’m just no good to anyone. But, who cares, right? I sure don’t. I sure don’t.
