comes the amazing little Samsung Q1 Ultra-Mobile PC, clutching a great
big fuzzy feather.
This ain’t no PDA. This ain’t no SmartPhone.
This ain’t no foolin’ around. The Samsung Q1 (once known under the
mysterious codename “Origami”) gives you a complete and total, full-on,
rootin’-tootin’ personal computin’ experience, wherever you are - and
you could be anywhere. The Q1 is a super-petite five-and-a-half inches
by one by nine. Seriously. This is some oh-the-places-you’ll-go action,
right here.
But don’t underestimate it: There’s 40 GB of storage
space in that svelte chassis for your work files, MP3s and whatever.
With standard Ethernet, wireless and Bluetooth capabilities, you’ll be
good and connected. There’s even a twin array microphone for VOIP
calls. I know, right?
Play movies, photos and music (without
even starting windows). Combine the three-button pad with eight-way
stick for PC gaming. Watch video in more formats than you can shake a
stick at without tiring out your stick-shakin’ arm. The on-board
speakers provide audio that’s as crisp and clear as early November in
Northern Michigan. Back before global warming.
Use the “virtual
keyboard” feature on the pretty little seven-inch touchscreen, or
connect an external keyboard and mouse when you have time to settle in
for a while, in your hotel, or the conference room. The Q1 may be
PDA-small, but you’re on a real computer here, son.
