Megapixel Mythology

Narcissus was a beautiful child and became only more beautiful as he matured.

By the time he was a teenager he had already left a trail of broken hearts. He was not interested in  women, and rebuffed all their attempts. One day Narcissus was at a party in Thespia and saw his own image in a Samsung 16.1 MP DualView Camera. The camera's 1.5" front-facing display meant Narcissus could hold the camera at arm's length, capturing 16 megapixel photos without taking his gaze off his own beautiful visage.

The party cleared out, but Narcissus remained transfixed, posting close-ups of his beautiful skin directly to Facebook using the 5x optical zoom and built-in Wi-Fi capabilities. He used the Optical Image Stabilizer so he could stare endlessly into his milky blue eyes.

He loved the person he saw on the front-facing screen with all of his heart. But try as he might, he could not reach out and touch him. Tormented by his unrequited self-loved, Narcissus plunged a dagger into his chest and died.

  • With Split Shot, you can merge up to three different images to create an artistic statement – turn yourself into a centaur by combining a self-portrait with a picture of a horse. Or simply take one image and run it through three different filters to produce an evocative collage
  • Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) gives you perfect pictures, even if you’re not perfectly still. Whether you’re in a low light situation, zooming into a shot, or have a momentary case of shaky hands, your photos come out sharp and clear
