Yessir, this little drive’ll make a big time mover-and-sharer out of you, files-wise. “Can’t take it with you!” Pshaw!

Well, OK then. We concede that, portable though it is, you probably cannot actually carry this Philips DVD+R/W and CD-RW drive into the great hereafter. But first of all, why would you want to? We don’t have a shred of reliable evidence that there even is a spirit realm, let alone any reason to assume that DVDs and CDs are widely used there. And secondly, that’s a pretty significant bit of information to leave out of an idiom. You hear someone say “you can’t take it with you,” and you’re supposed to just infer “beyond the grave?” That’s dumb.
