This Klipsch KSW-12 12” Subwoofer is trouble. Deep, bass-rich trouble. You don’t want to mess with a subwoofer like that. Unless you’ve already been to the main page for part one.

I’d been trying to get off the night shift for months now, but my lieutenant kept telling me I wasn’t ready. Wasn’t ready? What more could I learn from these crazies?

So I start to do a little research. And some funny things start to appear. That subwoofer, it turns out, has a 12” down-firing driver. And a black vinyl matte finish. Something like that, it starts seeming pretty professional, doesn’t it? So I made a few calls.

By my dinner break, I’d found out that the Klipsch KSW-12 12” Subwoofer accepts LFE, line level and speaker level inputs. And word on the street was that someone with a built in discrete MOSFET amplifier and fiber composite woofer had been working uptown. Maybe cleaning up a little problem with some twins. A little problem that needed high quality materials and the most reliable components. I thought about it over coffee and a ham sandwich at the diner where the waitress likes the City’s Finest. And then guess what happened. Just guess. Because you won’t. I was there, and I don’t even understand it.

I get back to my office, and there’s my lieutenant, with two guys from the Feds. My office is all cleaned out, all my files, everything. And they’re all smiling. Turns out, I got a promotion. I’m off the night shift. And I get this little medal for my hard work. Only catch is, I gotta lay off this Klipsch KSW-12 12” Subwoofer and those twins. Hey, a guy who’s seen what I’ve seen won’t have any problem with that. It’s just a shame about that cabbie, though. Just a shame.
