Remove the handle assembly from the vehicle door so you can rebuild the unit ------Picture marked 1 2. Locate factory pivot rod. ------Picture marked 2 3. Use a cutting tool to cut the rod in half to allow removal ------Note: You can also drill out the tip as it is flared, but this may be more difficult and leaves room for the cup to be damaged ------Picture marked 3 4. Take the new rod out of the new lever, and install the lever to the old cup. Place spring in between so when you push the rod through it will go through the middle of spring *****This is an aftermarket reproduction part, it may need minor adjustments by way of notching areas of variance***** *****The factory rubber nubs usually need to be cut down or removed*****
