Sometimes you eat the soundbar, and sometimes that's not very satisfying. 

Hey everybody! It's been awhile since I updated this blog, "A Year of Sellout.Woot" and I'm sure a lot of curious how my plan to go a year living on nothing but items sold on Sellout.Woot is going. 

In a word: Poorly. 

I'll admit, I took on this project because it seemed like every author was doing some "living X for a year" book project. You know, like "Nickled and Dimed," or "The Year of Living Biblically." But I didn't really do my research about what Sellout.Woot actually sold and now I'm boned. 

This Sharp 2.1CH Soundbar w/ Wireless Sub looks great, don't get me wrong, and I'm sure it could fill a room with rich sound. But you know what it can't fill a room with? Food. 

The last food item on Sellout.Woot was a pack of gourmet beef jerky back in February. Since then it's been nothing but electronics and the occasional vacuum. My hopes got up when they sold a few energy drinks last week, but it turns out that there weren't any calories in those, and I ended up getting a nasty headache. 

So please, if you know the folks at Sellout.Woot, could you convince them to sell a nice ham sandwich? Or even a dozen eggs. I'm dying here - literally.

Oh wait! There's a sale full of pantry goods down there! Ugh, nevermind -- it's mostly just salt and cocoa powder.
