At first everyone tells them this is a terrible idea, but once they somewhat legally raise their funds and cobble together their sugary craft, everyone continues to tell them this is a terrible idea. And it is. The race ends at the start line in a disgusting pool of dough and brine and fifty tons of gold bullion for some reason. Rated D for Donut Watch This.
Kites Are No Longer Fun
When all the colorful kites in the town of Demon's Scythe, PA begin killing people, Sheriff Rogers "Roger" McRogers starts to suspect that something is up. And right he is, as a kite kills everyone standing next to him in the span of 2 minutes. When McRogers discovers that a curse was put on the town back in either the 1500s or 1982, the race is on to see if the Sheriff will figure out how to lift the curse before he finishes his donut, which - to his credit - is 3 miles wide and 50 feet tall. So no, he probably won't figure it out unless the answer is somewhere inside the donut. SPOILER: it isn't.

But she is also not there. 4 stars because there is an awesome action sequence involving a donut after the end credits.
