Whether you're a professional typer or just recreational, everyone can agree that some keys get the job done more so than others. These keys are the best keys of the keyboard. 

HONORABLE MENTIONS THAT ALMOST MADE THE CUT: 3, l, ], ,, control, 6, `, and Kobe Bryant.

5. SHIFT: while it may do very little on its own, the shift key is a great addition to any winning keyboard. Its unselfishness turns little letters into big letters and numbers into fun symbols like $, which is a pivotal symbol for expressing money.

4. G: some argue that G is simply a very good key that gets credit for being a great key because of its inflated statistics, but what that argument overlooks is that, without g, you'd have to type "very ood" and "reat," which aren't words. And that's why G earns a spot in the top 5 keys of the keyboard.

3. BACKSPACE: Known for its fierce defense and emphatic rejections, the backspace key narrowly misses a spot in the the top two because sometimes when you press it, it goes back a page and the article you were typing into the text box - "16 Bold Predictions For Johnny Manziel's First Day Of Cleveland Browns Training Camp" - gets erased.

2. 1: The number 2 key on the keyboard goes to the number 1. Whether you're making another NBA Mock Draft or ranking the top 3 tennis tournaments based solely on attendance numbers, the 1 key always comes in handy always for this.

1. R: Not only is it the first letter of my first name, it's also the last letter of my first name. Additionally, it is the second letter of my first name, and these facts add up to nothing less than the top spot on this, my definitive ranking of the top keys on the keyboard.
