Oh, really? Well, how was I to know? It looks like the same thing. And all those letters and numbers I don’t understand – 3.5” USB/SATA HDD - they’re all the same, too. But you’re telling me this is just a – a box or something to put the other thing in? I swear, I don’t know how you people keep up with all this computer nonsense. Give me a Selectric any day. Overview: The CP Tech 3.5” USB/SATA hard drive enclosure allows you to connect a 3.5” internal Serial ATA hard drive through a USB 2.0 Cable to your computer's USB port. Just plug a 3.5” SATA hard drive into the SATA connector in the internal sliding tray, use the included screws to secure the hard drive to the tray and slide the tray into the external case. The case is powered by an included AC adapter. The CP Tech 3.5” USB/SATA hard drive enclosure connects to your computer via the included USB cable. Once recognized by your computer, it is seen as a separate hard drive by your computer.
