232 232XL Ink Cartridges Combo Pack

Huge failure. I installed the ink cartridges in my printer, ran a test page, they worked fine. A few days later I printed a couple pages, they looked fine. A week later I tried printing a page and a message "Replace Ink" flashed. I took the ink cartridges out, put them back in, and received the same message. Resetting, turning the printer and computer off, taking the cartridges out and shaking them - nothing worked.  I tried to return at Whole Foods; the staff told me that wasn't permitted because I had thrown out the original packaging after running the test page. They told me to phone Amazon customer service; the telephone rep told me that I'd have to wait two weeks because I had already started a return when I downloaded the QR code to bring to Whole Foods!! He said that he could not cancel the return and let me start another for the item. He also said that he'd phone me to let me know when I could start a new return for the item. Needless to say I can't return because a month passed from the date the item arrived and apparently there's only a one month return window.  Last I'll purchase any cheap crap from China via Amazon. Complete failure.
