Portable, adjustable but HEAVY
By Naturalist shopper on Reviewed in the United States on January 19, 2025
I like that it has height adjustments. I don't like that every time you set up or breakdown, you still have to assemble or disassemble the base. Its nice to have the 360 swivel. But, it's rather heavy and if you're carrying a bunch of other gear at the same time, it weighs you down. Its also disappointing that you actually have to assemble it out of the box. For $130, I'm not sure it's worth it.

Very nice chair but lack of captured fasteners makes it a bit of a pain to set up.

Bought this for my brother for his deer stand. It’s heavy but he doesn’t plan on carrying it there everyday (he will just leave it there ). I wouldn’t want to haul it around regularly but it’s incredibly sturdy and he loves it.

I got this for my husband as a Christmas gift since he was looking for an outdoor chair. The color camouflages well in the outdoor. He hasn’t taken it out on his hunting trip yet but it looks very sturdy with his 3 tripod legs. I like that it has a side pocket to put his drink or any other accessories. It is easy to carry and it folds effortlessly.
Hands down, this should be on every hunter’s list for the ultimate blind hunting experience.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product
Kalka Hunting Chair Review: A Game-Changer for the Blind I recently had the opportunity to test out the Kalka Hunting Chair through the Vine Program, and I must say, it has truly transformed my hunting experience. Here’s a breakdown of my first impressions and overall thoughts after using this chair. First Impressions: Right out of the box, the Kalka Hunting Chair exudes quality. The materials are robust, and the sturdy frame combined with the comfortable camouflage seat pad immediately gave me confidence in its durability. While the price point is on the higher side for hunting chairs, I quickly understood why after putting it to the test. This chair is a premium product that genuinely delivers on its promises. Comfort and Design: One of the standout features for me is the 360° swivel capability. The silent swivel mechanism is a game-changer! In the past, I’ve often found myself compromising my chances of a successful hunt due to the noise of cheaper chairs. With the Kalka, I can turn smoothly and quietly to survey my surroundings or line up my shot without the fear of tipping or making unwanted sounds. The armrests are another thoughtful addition, providing just the right amount of support without being bulky or intrusive. Plus, the no-sink feet are fantastic for hunting on varied terrains, ensuring that the chair remains stable no matter where I set it up. Portability and Adjustability: I was pleasantly surprised by how portable this chair is. It folds up easily and comes with a shoulder strap, making it convenient to carry to my hunting spot. While it’s not the lightest chair out there (which is understandable given its solid construction), the adjustable height feature is a significant win, allowing me to customize it to my preference. Value for Money: Now, I know the price might give some potential buyers pause, but after using the chair, I firmly believe it’s worth every penny. When you’re spending hours in the blind, the comfort, quiet swivel, and stability it offers are invaluable. I honestly wonder why I didn’t invest in a similar chair years ago! Minor Issue: There was one minor hiccup during assembly—one of the holes for bolting the chair to the leg stand was slightly off-center. However, I was able to drill it out and use a steel rivet nut to fix it, so it wasn’t a deal-breaker for me. Final Thoughts: If you’re tired of creaky, uncomfortable chairs that ruin your hunts, I highly recommend adding the Kalka Hunting Chair to your gear list. The 360° silent swivel, no-sink feet, and overall stability make it a dream for blind hunters. Don’t hesitate—this chair is worth the investment! Happy hunting!
