pretty accurate

This scale is pretty close to being spot on.my wife and I both had doctors appointments on the same day. when we got home we used the scale and I was a 1 pound heavier and she was 1 pound lighter. Most scales of this type will weigh you differently depending on you position on the scale. The price is very close to what they charge in the big box stores for the same type of scale.

Display lacks backlight

Our scale suddenly stopped working so this is the replacement scale. It has a small footprint and the glass is thinner than our previous one. It works fine and since the glass is thin it is light to pick up. We are a smaller frame family so the size is not an issue but it could be for large feet. The clear glass and black trim looks clean and simple. The weight appears to be accurate (much to my dismay). It is disappointing that the display is not backlit. It’s difficult to read the numbers if the room is not well lit. This Zewa scale require a watch battery the size of a quarter. It’s disappointing because our old scale used a AAA battery which is more common to have around the house. You also won’t be able to use rechargeable batteries. Overall it gets 3 stars for being functional, but I docked it because of the poor display and the battery required.
