ToLife Dehumidifiers for Bedroom

I purchased two of these due to the mostly positive reviews, the low price point, and the fact that it says they can handle up to 1,000 sqft. I received them yesterday, and knew from their tiny size that there was no way they could handle that amount of space. I figured I'd try them anyway, and set them both up each in a 200 sqft room. 24 hours later they had each collected, no exaggeration, half a cup of water. Why did the company say they can cover up to 1,000 sqft when that is clearly not true? They're quiet machines, I'll give them that, but they only have one setting. Instead of putting a light option so you can choose which color you want the unit to emit, wouldn't it have been more productive and helpful to have a speed setting option? I don't care what color light it emits, I just want it to clear the room of humidity, and I'd like to at least be able to choose low or high speed, rather than a color. I These two machines are going back to Amazon. Lesson learned.
