After buying my house a couple of years back, I discovered that I had spotlights on both the front and back of my house that were dead. Replacing them had been on my list of things to do, so when I saw these H&Z halogen lights and had the chance to try them out, I figured it'd be worth a shot. I am very impressed with every aspect of these lights. First off, they are very well built with a solid exterior that could take a beating and keep going. Living in an area where hail can be a problem, I feel like these could take a few good shots and not worry about breaking. They are smaller than I would expect for halogen lights but as my pictures show, you don't sacrifice brightness at all with these. They provide enough light to fully illuminate the corners of my house and keep the perimeter of my property safe. They offer so much light that you can feel the heat of the light on your hand from a couple of inches away, though the bodies of the lights don't get so hot that you'd be concerned with being too hot. in terms of function and build, I honestly think these are some of the most durably constructed halogen bulbs I've ever used. I'm convinced that these are going to last for years to come, and they really are the perfect solution for external safety lights. Highly recommended!
