loose fit and heels slip down

GOOD: These are thick and very cushy. There are toe seams, but they are comfortable and not annoying. Breathable material. MEH: These feel rather loose and definitely don't have support. I am a women's size 8.5 and I got a medium - they definitely FIT (small would be too tight and the heel slipping, large would be too long with bunching) - but they're just not cozy. Also, the back of the ankle keeps slipping down even without any shoes on. With shoes on, it's even worse. The photo is also a little misleading. These are true ankle socks - they hit right at/below the ankle bone with the thin banding. The pic looks like they will be the ones with the thicker band that hit a bit above the ankle.
