Summer’s Coming! Great Little Unit for the Price with Easy Operation and Compact Size
By Natalie J. T. on Reviewed in the United States on May 20, 2025
This portable AC was packaged really well. I got a little confused and ended up tearing the side of the box open, but it turns out you just need to cut the four outer straps and lift the box straight up. Then you cut the two straps holding the accessories inside and you are ready to go. Setup was quick and easy. One important note, it says all over the box and instructions to keep the unit upright for at least six hours, ideally twenty four, before turning it on. So make sure to plan for that. The BTU labeling is a little confusing. The listing says eighty five hundred BTU, but the sticker on the unit shows fifty one hundred. I have seen similar discrepancies with other portable AC units, so maybe it is common or there is something I am not fully understanding about how they are rated. Either way, it cooled my space quickly and effectively, so I am not too concerned. It is currently cooling my twelve by fourteen foot office that gets direct sun and it does the job really well. The size and shape are a big plus. It is basically a tall cube, compact with a square base and vertical form, which makes it easy to fit in spots where a larger unit would not work. I had it temporarily set up on my desk while rearranging the room and may just leave it there. It would also fit under the desk with no problem. The window outlet panel was not quite big enough for my window. At forty seven inches wide, there was still a gap left in my frame. I imagine this would be the case for many standard horizontal sliding windows, especially in older buildings. I was not planning to vent it that way anyway since I routed it through my three D printer ventilation system, but it is something to be aware of. I am sure you can order an extension panel if needed. It has a basic, no frills setup with two fan speeds, a sleep mode, and options for cooling, fan, or dehumidifier. Everything available on the remote is also available on the control panel, which I always appreciate. The noise level is not too bad and is not in a range that I find annoying. Some units have a tone or pitch that really gets to me, but this one does not. It's more like a louder white noise machine... a little lower/richer in tone than a box fan. I also like that the transition between cooling and fan mode is smooth. Other units I have used make a loud, jarring switch that can be disruptive, especially when sleeping. Energy use is listed at seventy one dollars per year, which puts it in the mid range for similar models and seems fair given the performance. There is also a card included to register for an extra warranty. I have found that when companies offer this and you take the time to register, they usually stick by it. Overall, it is a solid, affordable AC that performs well and works exactly how I need it to.

💩 product
By Kenny A. on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2025
It's not a one star company. The product maybe a one star product. I'll say this much it shipped and arrived fast. The first day I used it it worked amazing. I'm in a 450sq ft boat, and it cooled all of it down into the upper 60's I thought how awesome! The next day the unit started acting up. I thought maybe it's user error, maybe I didn't set it right. The unit would run for about five mins. The compressor would turn on, and you could hear it. It was super loud, louder than advertised. It cooled for a few mins. Then the compressor would turn off, and it made a loud chachunk noise when it did. Id turn it off, wait a bit, turn it on, it would run for a bit then stop. After a while the blower would stop. The unit said it was on all lights on, no blower and no compressor. I reached out to the seller, they responded really fast. That was impressive. They tried to troubleshoot. Tbh the message they sent back read like old school sterio instructions. It involved a lot of math, figuring the outside temp to the inside temp. I did think it was funny that they said if the outside temp is 84 degrees the unit will shut off to protect itself.... I live in South Texas 84 degrees is a fall day after an arctic cold front. I can't have an ac unit that can't cool when it's hotter than 84 outside. Needless to say they did accept a return and I am sending the unit back. I really wanted it to on work. It's a cute unit, small, doesn't take up a lot of space.
