Linksys as a product and company is not what it once was.

Absolute garbage. No matter how I try to pair the child node to the main router it always ends up with flashing white light. I even updated the firmware on the router and then the child node. The child node firmware upgrade was a bit more cumbersome because I had to literally connect to it and have a DHCP server on the laptop I was working from in order to reach the firmware page on the child node. I started to wonder how anyone without experience in technology would deal with this. Anyways even with the latest firmware the devices don't pair. Tried the 5 button pairing, the CA setup in the web UI and then even via the app on the phone. Getting a hold of support is a joke for Linksys. Their chat feature doesn't work, the AI assistance is terrible. To make matters worse the seller on this said it was the 2024 model which should be v2 but its not its v1. I have always bought Linksys but this is the last.

Another great Linksys product

Replaced an old Linksys with this mesh solution. It works great, easy to set up, and looks nice. I actually tried a different brand (another top brand in the market) before buying this one and the other guys turned out to be junk compared to this Linksys. Happy i was able to return the other for this one. Super happy with it.
