So fun to see the birds.

This is amazing. We have been using this as a learning opportunity for the kids to see the birds up close. It's fun to watch the birds. It was super easy to assemble. It's a solar panel. My pros are that it's easy to put up. Easy to install. It is great that it has the solar power. That however did cause a little bit of an issue cuz I have a very shaded yard and I had to find a Sunny spot so that the solar panel can be charged but it's working really well. I get notifications when a bird comes up. It's got an SD card but you can also do cloud storage the camera you can even listen. You can turn on like the microphone and you can listen to the birds. You can put the sugar solution for the hummingbirds. There's a fruit pic so you can put a fruit on there or you can dump the food into the feeder itself and then it slowly feets out. I'm extremely happy with it and the birds are probably happy with it too. The only con that I'm seeing is it constantly wants to go to the hour but I want to break it down into minutes to be able to see the birds better. There is a button to click to do that. It just automatically assumes I want to see it by the hour. But that's a super simple fix. I just pushed the minute button and then I'm able to speed up or slow down the video in reverse or in forward mode. You can download the videos of the birds or you can also take still shots all within the app.

When the unit says Squirrel Proof

A squirrel bit off the wire that charges the battery. So, as the description said squirrel proof, I will need to send this back and modify a new one to keep a squirrel from damaging it. The company has refunded me for the damaged birdfeeder. And I purchased a new one, making a simple modification. However, after removing the plastic cover and cleaning the lense, the camera was out of focus to birds at the end of the bird's resting area. Another bird feeder was sent to me. This one worked for a couple of days and went offline by itself. found the camera was not charging from the solar cell. contacted customer service and they are asking the questions i have already answered. and want verification on what I have done. A new Bird Feeder is being sent. It has an issue with focusing. Contacted the company, they sent a used feeder. I demanded a brand new feeder. I said, I will wait the month. Please send me the tracking number so I can see it is on its way. The vendor doesn't like it when there is one star reviews. They told me a brand new unit was being sent and may take a month. We are at the 5 week mark. No, tracking number, no replacement. Contacted the manufacturer, they were furious that I set my satisfaction to one star. They never sent me a new bird feeder! I bought a new feeder and returned the bad one. Got my money back and a new one to replace the used piece of crap. We are going to stay at one star due to all this frustration!
