Blue 84 T-Shirt, NYC Knicks

This shirt confuses me. I ordered a size large because I like my shirts a little loose. I’m pretty much a standard size medium or a size 8, which ever way you wanna put it. I am 5‘9” tall. I expected this to be a normal T-shirt because it doesn’t look like anything different in the photos. It doesn’t say anything different in the description either. When it arrived, however, it’s cut way tight in the bodice. Now I understand a woman’s T-shirt is sometimes cut in at the waist. But this is cut WAY in at the waist. Again, I normally would pick a size medium. I picked a size large instead because I wanted it LOOSE and this is so snug on me that it looks too small. And then my next beef is that it’s so long that it goes all the way over my backside. Keep in mind, like I said above I’m 5’9” tall. If you are average height or shorter, this shirt is going to be a dress on you. So again, this shirt confuses me and I don’t like it.
