RECOMMENDATION: Thumbs up: Heavy enough once loaded with sand/water to hold mot umbrellas THE GOOD: 1. The base is actually in two separate halves, although you do not have to assemble it as it comes pre-connected. 2. There is a fill hole on each side. 3. There are wheels underneath it to allow for moving it, which is a nice plus. 4. Our umbrella base fit easily into the screw holes provided in the center plate. Can’t speak to all umbrellas though. THE BAD: 1. We always fill our bases with a combo of sand and water, and the small fill holes provide don this base made getting the sand inside somewhat difficult. However, it was still way better than our last base which had only one fill hold and getting the sand to the far side of the base was a real pain. Having two fill holes made it a lot easier.
