No Chain tension adjustment.

Have had and have a number of chainsaws. Wanted small version for branch lopping as regular lack maneuverability. Numerous Ryobi battery tools so bought the PCLCW01. Chain adjustment seemed to work for set-up but after a few cuts threw the chain. Try as I might cannot get the adjustment too work! Not the familiar mechanism but a stamped spiral in a metal plate engaging ? with plastic ?s. The saw is useless! Shame as the other features are up to the high standard I expect from Ryobi.
