Gourmet Basics by Mikasa Ferris Wheel Ro

This Ferris Wheel bowl set is very cute and a definite conversation piece. Especially when a bowl tips over and spills all its contents into the bowl beneath it! I filled the bowls with water to test how it worked. Everything was fine when I rotated the wheel to the right, but when I rotated the wheel to the left, one of the bowl cradles got stuck. The bowl tipped over as I continued to rotate left, and all the water poured from the stuck bowl into the bowl beneath it. It was quite a show! When I looked at the bowl cradle, I found that a piece of metal wasn't soldered in place. A piece of metal was sticking out and would not allow the bowl cradle to swing correctly. I don't think Superglue will hold the broken piece of metal, so I'll have to find a soldering iron to see if I can fix it. This is definitely not Mikasa quality. Update: I came up with a fix – I just used a needle nose pliers and bent the protruding piece of metal so it wouldn’t stop the wheel from turning to the left. No more waterfall!
