Kamenstein Battery Operated Grinder

This salt grinder is an absolute BEAST! Seriously if you’ve used any other electric grinders you may have had one or both of these issues: too little salt holding capacity, or produces too little salt. Those are two issues you’ll never have with this one! The holding capacity on this is a ton, I didn’t get a precise measurement but trust me you’ll be impressed. Other electric grinders i’ve had run out of salt after a couple uses if you’re seasoning meat or cooking with them. As far as salt production this thing is a cannon, and if it produces too much salt too fast you can always adjust it from the bottom. By all means this product functions great, looks great, and has well considered design. There are some minor caveats however. The first for me being that it uses 6 triple A batteries. That’s kind of a lot of batteries, however that provides this grinder the power necessary to work as efficiently as it does. While i’m sure the batteries will last a while it is nice and more economical these days to have a rechargeable battery. The other thing is that the adjustment for the size of the salt is a bit tricky to adjust. It seems to have a sweet spot and otherwise the bolt feels loose, I couldn’t see too great of a difference in the size of the grains produced either. These are small details but ones I wanted to mention. Personally I wouldn’t let any of these factors dissuade you, this salt grinder is awesome! It looks like a classy wooden grinder but is so much easier with the touch if a button. It is an absolutely great deal and one of the best electric grinders I have owned. I highly recommend it, the convenience alone will make your kitchen experience better!
