The Rolls Royce of Toothbrushes
By Matt on Reviewed in the United States on February 9, 2025
Let me start by saying this: if my teeth could throw a party, they’d invite the Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart 9500 as the guest of honor. This toothbrush is the Beyoncé of oral care—expensive, yes, but absolutely worth it. Sure, my wallet cried a little, but my teeth have never been happier, so I consider it a fair trade. Durability: This thing is built like a tank. I’ve dropped it more times than I’d like to admit (blame my morning clumsiness), and it still works like a champ. It’s survived my butterfingers and my dog’s attempts to steal it for a chew toy. If this toothbrush were a person, it’d be that friend who always has their life together while the rest of us are just trying to survive. Charging Capability: The charging glass is chef’s kiss. Not only does it look like something Tony Stark would design, but it also charges wirelessly. No fumbling with cords—just plop it on the glass, and it powers up like magic. The battery life is impressive too. I charged it once, forgot about it for weeks, and it was still going strong. It’s like the toothbrush version of a marathon runner. Travel Case: The travel case is a game-changer. It’s sleek, compact, and even has a USB port to charge the brush on the go. I took it on a weekend trip, and my friends were so impressed they thought I was secretly a millionaire. Joke’s on them—I just have impeccable taste in toothbrushes. Value for Money: Yes, it’s pricey. Yes, I had to convince myself I deserved it. But after using it, I can confidently say it’s worth every penny. My dentist even complimented my teeth at my last checkup, and that alone is priceless. Plus, if you divide the cost by the number of times you’ll use it (twice a day, every day), it’s basically a bargain. Math!

Did not live up to expectations
By AK on Reviewed in the United States on May 8, 2025
I purchased the Phillips Sonicare toothbrush three months ago, and I have to say I am quite disappointed. Considering how expensive it was, I expected much better performance. The manufacturer promised long battery life, but unfortunately, the battery already drains extremely quickly. I find myself having to charge it every single day, which is really inconvenient. At first, the toothbrush worked well, and I was impressed with the cleaning performance. However, the battery issue started just a few weeks after purchase, and it has only gotten worse over time. I tried different charging methods and even cleaned the contacts, but nothing seems to help. For the price I paid, I expected a more reliable product. It’s frustrating to invest in a premium brand only to encounter such a basic issue. Unfortunately, I can’t recommend it. There are definitely better options available in the same price range that offer more consistent quality.
