3 poles like it says, plus a ground. Also comes standard with push to place holes in the back. All the screws and fixtures lined up dang near perfectly with American standard plates and conduit boxes and etcetera. Screws didn't strip. Seems like good quality. I'll update you if my customer gets shocked in 6 months.

Several Switches DOA

Seven switches were installed and worked as expected; however, three were DOA. Unfortunately, this caused me to waste a great deal of time troubleshooting. I was replacing a group of 3-way and 4-way switches and was losing my mind trying to figure out why no matter how I wired things (and rewired things), there was always a problem. I acknowledge that had I been more experienced with electrical, I may have known to test the switch sooner. Anyway, lesson learned. That said, I am basing my review on the fact that three of the ten were DOA, and to return, Amazon wanted me to send back all of the switches. I used up all my allotted time troubleshooting the switch; I don't have the time to uninstall and send back the good ones.
