Firm, supportive, cool good value hybrid mattress

I’ve had the Avenco 12″ Queen gel memory foam/hybrid for a few weeks now, and it’s been a treat. Unboxing was easy, and there was barely any odor. It’s medium-firm, with enough cushion to avoid pressure-point pain but plenty of support my back and hips feel better already. The gel layer helps keep it cool, and my spouse sleeps deeper without noticing my movement. Performance-wise, I’d give it 4 stars: a couple reviewers noted it doesn’t expand to a full 12″ and it might feel firmer or softer depending on your weight/style, so go into the comfort trial with that in mind. Overall great buy for the price.

Not a good mattress

This mattress I got a king size, let just say it’s not my favorite. I had it over 3 months ago and I regret buying it. It molds to your body into the middle of the mattress. My husband and I can fall asleep pretty quickly and when I wake up we’re right smack in the middle of the bed. It’s so hard to get out of it. Plus I got a 12” mattress but I it does not look like 12”. More likely 8” mattress. I am not happy with this mattress. However I do fall asleep quick and that is only positive thing on this mattress. When I do wake up sometimes it’s so hard for to fall back asleep because of the mattress is mold to your body and can’t get out of the bed. You struggle
