Purewell Gravity Water Filter System

Update- this company tried to keep my money after I returned the product! Nothing was missing or broke in-fact I returned 4 filters instead of 2 since they all were horrible! If you really must try these horrible filters go through a different brand this one will try and rip you off once you return it! I REALLY wanted to love this!! I’ve been searching for a plastic free water alternative that was a descent price. The Berkey is expensive and they arent selling their filters at the moment due to a lawsuit as stated on their website. This one had about the same level of reviews as the others, mixed reviews. The first unit I got the filters wouldn’t drip, I primed them and researched and spent hours on it. Amazon sent out a replacement unit and those filters were worse. One had glue sticking out and the other was leaking from the rim. After hours of trying I got two of the four to slow drip enough to taste the water and it was HORRIBLE!! Tasted worse than tap! Trust the other 1 star reviews the filters do no work and are a scam! I’m sending the unit back which is a shame because the unit itself is really nice! The buckets and hardware are good quality in my opinion. I would have loved to keep this if the filters actually worked! I ended up getting a standard water filter in a plastic jug that I really didn’t want to get because of the plastic but the water tastes great! If they were able to come out with quality filters for this unit I would go back and buy it, but not until then! It’s too expensive for zero quality water!
