HENCKELS Everlift Nonstick Frying Pan Set

I really was excited about receiving these. Henckels is pretty well known kitchen company, mostly for knives so I had high hopes. On the up side they are good sizes - a 10" and a smaller pan perfect for a couple of eggs. And I guess the non-stick is durable, but we shall see - every non stick pan loses its coating in about a year so I see no reason to think these would be different. The problem is the pan construction is super lightweight and insubstantial. I bought a 2-pack of 10" pans from that big warehouse store that starts with a "C" and they are easily twice as heavy, and as such are twice as good at distributing and retaining heat. These pans instead feel like they're made of aluminum foil. And they aren't cheap - those pans I mentioned above from the other place were $29 for two, and these are $69! I think they're are much better non-stick options out there...
