Great Cans... *IF* you can get them on sale

The Beats Studio headphones present a compelling option, particularly when found at a discounted price. While their Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and sound quality offer only a marginal improvement over the AirPods Pro, their overall package truly shines in other areas. It's worth noting that sound quality does improve with lossless audio when connected via USB-C, but I've intentionally minimized this in my evaluation, as wired headphones fundamentally exist in a different category for me. Comfort is a standout feature; they are exceptionally comfortable and snug, and their aesthetic is undeniably chic. The sound signature is notably balanced, and for closed-back ANC headphones, the soundstage is remarkably impressive – arguably their brightest shining attribute. Battery life is robust, and they boast rapid charging capabilities. Connectivity within my Apple ecosystem was seamless, quickly establishing them as my primary headphones for use with my work iMac. I acquired these at a significant discount, around $170 total, which was less than a new pair of AirPods Pro. At this price point, they represent an excellent value. You would be hard-pressed to find wireless, ANC-equipped over-ear headphones with this level of quality and such effortless Apple device integration for a comparable price. However, at their near-$350 retail price, better alternatives become available from brands like Sennheiser and Audio-Technica (including either wired and wireless options). Therefore, I strongly advise against paying close to full price for these headphones. Had I paid $300-$350, my rating would be closer to three stars. (On a related note, I consider the AirPods Max to be, at best, a one or two-star product at $550 – so, these Beats are undeniably the superior choice over the APMs). At their full retail price, these Beats simply aren't worth it, primarily due to the aforementioned sound quality and only marginal ANC improvement over the AirPods Pro. Overall, however, I am extremely happy with this purchase and believe I secured a genuinely great deal. While I was tempted by the cuter Kim K color options, I ultimately chose the Deep Brown for a more timeless and classic aesthetic. I am thoroughly satisfied, and if you can purchase them for under $200, you truly can't go wrong.

Big step up for the brand, but disappointing overall
By Lemon on Reviewed in the United States on June 14, 2025
They pull out a bunch of my hairs every single time. I can’t believe how effectively that little crevice between the band and the cans captures and grips them. I like headphones a bit too much and I’ve never had this happen before. Terrible experience. The interface is annoying. No clear cues for Noise Cancellation or any other settings. No sound when they turn on, but only when they connect. The buttons are LOUD. The included cables are LOUDER. The folding mechanism applies an absurd amount of force to the band. The USB port protrudes into the ear pad which leads to lots of annoying stabbing at it, but the headphones seem durable. They sound good, but notably worse than my HD400 Pro. The bass is muddier/boomier, and the highs are less sharp. Despite advertising literal surround sound, they don’t give the impression of separating music into its many parts as do great headphones. I don’t really know that the sound is any better than the midrange off-brand noise cancelling headphones you can buy on here for like $80. You wouldn’t know it if you didn’t look for it. The biggest difference is Spatial Audio, which I find somewhat disappointing since it isn’t particularly noticeable without head tracking enabled, which is gimmicky, mostly annoying and an inferior experience to normal high quality headphones. The “Spatialize” DSP/EQ feature works reasonably well and sounds good enough. Noise cancellation is good, but not noticeably improved from more attainable headphones. Trains, construction, and my dishwasher are all dulled but not erased, and enabling NC creates a stronger pressure sensation than many headphones. Bluetooth compatibility with Apple products is very good. Compatibility with other Bluetooth is bad. Compatibility with PC is bad; documentation is limited, and most features are automatic or opaque. For example, noise cancellation and DSP settings are difficult or impossible to configure. Noise cancellation seems to automatically turn on and off as audio starts and stops. Compatibility with USB is inconsistent. They do not support Lightning at all. They look really good, but they’re not the greatest. Definitely among my more disappointing headphones purchases. Complicated, quirky and unimpressive. I might recommend them for the Apple ecosystem, but I think stepping up to their own Max model would be make more sense for that purpose. I don’t feel like they’re a good deal.

The Beats Studio Pro Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones have redefined my audio experience. From the moment I unboxed them, the sleek design and premium build quality were evident. The plush ear cushions and adjustable headband provide a comfortable fit, even during extended listening sessions. Sound quality is outstanding. The custom acoustic platform delivers rich, immersive audio with deep bass and clear treble. Personalized Spatial Audio, available when paired with an iOS device, creates a 360-degree soundstage that enhances music and movie experiences. The Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) feature effectively blocks out background noise, allowing for an uninterrupted listening experience. Transparency Mode is equally impressive, enabling awareness of surroundings without removing the headphones. Battery life is exceptional. With up to 40 hours of playback time and a quick 10-minute charge providing up to 4 hours of use, these headphones are perfect for long trips and daily commutes. CNN Whether you're an Apple or Android user, the Beats Studio Pro offers seamless connectivity and high-resolution audio support via USB-C. In summary, the Beats Studio Pro Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Headphones offer exceptional sound quality, comfort, and value. They have become my go-to headphones for music, calls, and entertainment. Highly recommended!

Absolutely love! I compared these with a Bose pair and the Apple headphones and these ones came to be way more cheaper and overall so much better (battery life, Bluetooth, charging, product reviews). They are very minimal and so cute. The noise canceling is a dream, without even powering them on I can tell a difference. Comfort- if your anything like me I hate earbuds because my ears are so small and they hurt them. These headphones are the squishiest and I’m very pleased with the head band part and that comfort as well. I hate trying to rest my head on a plane or car and the plastic is hurting my head, I don’t need to worry about that with these headphones. Another thing I love on these is how simple it was to connect to them, literally all I had to do was power them on and they popped up on my phone to connect! I also appreciate how they look on my head while on, they don’t pop out too much and are very easy to adjust to be loose or nice and snug.
The perfect headphones, 10/10.

Cannot compliment these headphones enough. Battery, comfortability, reliability, cost, simplicity, reliability, noise cancelling, transparency mode, and quality are all 100/10 Sweatproof, durable, and super reliable under heavy daily use. I use these A LOT and they stay looking, feeling, and functioning as new. If these headphones were stolen, broken, or missing I would buy a new set that same day. Honestly the perfect pair of headphones <3 My only suggestion would be to come out with a better version (if that's even possible), as these are two years old and I'd buy an improved version SO FAST.
Good sound quality & battery life, OK noise cancelling, bad hair ripping

I have the in-ear version of these headphones (even the same color) which I LOVE. This is also my first pair of over-the-ear headphones, so maybe some of my issues are because of that. What I like: first, the sound quality is great. I have no issues and it's exactly what I would expect from a Beats Pro. The battery life also blows my mind a little - I listen to them for at least 1 hour per day and I only have to charge them every couple weeks or so. They're comfortable and I like the look of them, and I love the color... Kim comes through every time. What I don't like: the noise cancelling leaves a lot to be desired. Sometimes I'm not sure whether I have the noise cancelling mode on or off. Also, I listen to them when I'm walking my dog, and even the slightest breeze messes with the noise reduction and sounds like a GALE. Unless I have noise cancelling on, the sound of wind is amplified and really loud and distracting. Even with noise cancelling on, it's not great. But probably my biggest gripe with these is the fact that my hair gets caught in the ear muffs (muffs? whatever the part that goes over your ear is called) every. Single. Time. It drives me nuts. I lose hair every single time I wear these unless I have it in a ponytail, and even then, it sometimes finds a way to snag my hair and tear it out of my head. I would think this would be something that would be caught in initial testing stages, but maybe only men or short-haired women tested these? I have no idea. I eventually had to put hair ties between the soft and hard part of the muffs so that there was at least some barrier between my hair and whatever snags it. It seems like it would be a small thing until you're in pain every single effing time you take these things off. So, that's disappointing. But, four stars for the sound quality, battery life, look, and just because I love Kim I guess.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Great noise cancellation, keeps me focused on working out or cleaning around the house without worrying I’ll wake up my sister. Only thing is after a while if you’re working out it’ll get sweaty, makes me miss earbuds but I like the feel of not worrying about them popping off which normally happens to me when I wear earbuds. I just power through it until I’m down working out then sanitize them. Value for money: Worth the amount Bluetooth connectivity: Great Connectivity: Connects quick and takes a lot of distance to disconnect Design: Love the design and color Durability: Nice and secure on my head, great quality Battery life: Battery last longer than others I could workout in them and wear them around the house for days until I have to charge them again.

I really like these headphones! Connecting them to my phone and ipad was super easy to do, the sound and base of the headphones is great as well! These headphones i think are better then most because you can shut o and off the noise cancellation which i really like. The design is so sleek and it just looks overall amazing, they aren’t to big and bulky like i thought they’d be which is great. The noise cancellation actually works for once! You can still hear a little bit but its got to be REALLY loud and if you turn up you music you shouldn’t be able to hear much else. The only thing i wish was different was when your on facetime and the other person screenshares you cant hear them or whatever they’re sharing and they cant hear you so you cant use them. From what my boyfriend has told me the mic quality when i use them isnt to bad but he can still understand me and its better then most. I HIGHLY recommend!

The Beats Studio Pro Kim K edition is everything I hoped for and more. The neutral, minimalist color is absolutely stunning—elegant and stylish without being over the top. It feels like a fashion accessory and high-performance headphones all in one. Sound quality is phenomenal—crisp highs, deep bass, and excellent noise cancellation. Whether I’m working out, commuting, or just relaxing, the immersive audio makes everything sound amazing. They’re also super comfortable for long wear, with soft ear cushions and a snug, secure fit. Battery life is great, and I love the seamless connection with my Apple devices. The attention to detail and the premium finish really set these apart. If you want headphones that deliver both on style and sound, this Kim K collab is a total vibe. 10/10 recommend!

I was looking for headphones to workout in because AirPods would fall out not only in the gym but on a run as well. The headphones that have a chord get pulled out all the time too so I looked into headphones and came across this beauty. If you’re lucky like me you also got it on sale for 170 bucks. If your budget is around 200 bucks this is the BEST option for you. Now let me sell you my case; It has three settings for noise cancellation: off, filter out some nose, and noise cancellation. You use this by double tapping the power button to switch from each setting. The noise cancellation is amazing. I used it on a plane and fell asleep so quickly. You can definitely get better for a higher price but hey for 170 dollars we will take that. The battery life is outstanding. You can use it for hours and not have to worry about it. It charges quick as well. It connects super easily and plays a sound so you know it is connected. It has a microphone for calls and FaceTime, which is also great if you need some for work. The volume is where this beauty lacks a little. The max volume is not that loud, I wish there were more bass but it is not awful (especially with noise cancellation activated). It comes in a case that has a charger and a chord attachment that can make it wired if you so wish. It travels well. The design is not perfect but I personally like it, it doesn’t fall off when I run and it covers my ears well. You can wear it fr Horus without pain. I run with them on all the time and sweat a lot but I have no problems with it don’t worry about sweating these things will hold up!!! Hope this helps

Overall, I really love these things. I got the Dune color that Kim is wearing in her ad. Color is pretty similar to what the ad pictures look like. It looks lighter in the pictures I took. They are very comfortable for me. I know some people said they hurt peoples ears after a while. I guess it depends on your head and to be honest most headphones are gonna make your ears sore regardless. I use these for 8 + hours and my ears don’t hurt. It’s also a great pair of headphones for gaming. Especially for a PS5 because you can’t use Bluetooth for headphones on PS5 it has to have a cord to plug into the controller, which these have. The sound is pretty amazing. Very clear with pretty good base. They are not gonna boom your head off though, if you are looking for heavy bass, but it’s a very clear sounding quality. I wish they had a setting where you could play with the bass and music tone settings. Next, not 100% noise cancelling, but if you turn the music up all the way. It’s pretty close, but you’re gonna hurt your ears after a while doing that. My favorite favorite feature on these is the transparency mode. That’s a feature that I think I can’t live without now. It’s great for walks and you can be aware of your surroundings. It’s kind of trippy the way they work. They have speakers on the outside somehow. You can hear the outside noise, but somehow still hear the music clearly. I can’t explain it, but it’s awesome. Sometimes I put these on just for the transparency mode. It helps with my over stimulation. Everything is nicely muffled, but I can hear outside noise clearly if needed, but still have my inner peace. Calling voice seems great. People don’t ever have a problem hearing me talk. Really easy and fast to connect and I appreciate the iPhone capabilities. The charge last a long long time and they charge really fast too. That’s a big plus. Cords are nice quality and the bag is cute. I wish the bag maybe opened a little wider, or it had an outside pocket, but not a big deal. The headphones themself feel pretty sturdy. My biggest issue with these are the on-off button is so small and not raised or anything and hard to find with the headphones on. You also have to remember to turn these things off because if you don’t they will stay on the whole time. I think for 400 dollars after a certain amount of time of no use there should be a feature that will shut these off after no use if you want. I also think the little on off button is not necessary. Just have us hold in the big beats logo button or something instead. Overall, I am pretty obsessed with these. Way better than the AirPods that fall out of your ears and the original OG beats. If you use them enough 400 is probably worth it, but even so that’s asking a lot for a pair of headphones. I would wait to snag a deal like me . I paid 160 for these on sale and I would pay that all day for these. They will last years if you take care of them.
