The Greenworks 40V 300W Cordless Power Inverter is a versatile and portable solution for powering small electronic devices when you're on the go. Designed to work with Greenworks 40V battery systems, this sine wave inverter provides reliable power for a variety of devices, making it ideal for camping, outdoor activities, or emergency backup. Key Features: 300W Pure Sine Wave Inverter: Provides clean, stable power that is safe for sensitive electronics like laptops, smartphones, and other portable devices. Cordless Operation: Powered by Greenworks 40V batteries, offering the convenience of portability without being tethered to a wall outlet. 2 USB Ports: Equipped with two USB ports for charging multiple devices simultaneously, making it a handy tool for family trips or group outings. Compact and Lightweight: Designed for easy transport, the inverter is compact and lightweight, fitting easily into backpacks or storage compartments. Pros: Compatibility: Works seamlessly with Greenworks 40V batteries, making it an excellent addition for those who already own Greenworks tools and accessories. Clean Power Output: The pure sine wave output ensures that sensitive electronics are protected from potential damage, providing peace of mind when charging valuable devices. Portable Power: The cordless design and lightweight construction make it easy to take the inverter anywhere, perfect for outdoor activities or power outages. Multiple Charging Options: The inclusion of two USB ports allows for the charging of multiple devices at once, enhancing convenience. Cons: Battery Life: The battery life is dependent on the Greenworks 40V battery being used, and heavy usage might require additional batteries or frequent recharging. Limited Power Capacity: With a 300W output, the inverter is suitable for small electronics but may struggle with larger appliances or tools that require more power. No AC Outlet: Some users might miss having a standard AC outlet, which limits the range of devices that can be powered directly by the inverter. Overall Impression: The Greenworks 40V 300W Cordless Power Inverter is a practical and efficient tool for anyone needing portable power for small electronic devices. Its compatibility with Greenworks 40V batteries, pure sine wave output, and dual USB ports make it a reliable choice for camping trips, outdoor adventures, or emergency situations. While its power capacity may be limited for larger devices, and the lack of an AC outlet could be a drawback for some, it excels in providing clean, safe power for everyday portable electronics.

Shorted on first use... waited over a month for customer service... gave up
By NarWhale on Reviewed in the United States on February 16, 2021
I purchased this due to power outages in this area. Figured it was a perfect option since it used the same battery as several of my yard tools. I plugged a battery in and turned it on to make sure it actually came on. Less than a week later... BOOM... power outage... I grabbed the inverter a battery and a lamp. The lamp never came on, but there were some interesting smells. Panicked, I disconnected everything and figured I would send an email to customer service once the power was back on. Mind you, this all happened in mid 2020, which you may remember was "challenging" for all of us. 2020-06-03 - purchased 2020-06-05 - received \ basic testing 2020-06-11 - power outage \ burning smell 2020-06-12 - contacted Greenworks Tools 2020-06-19 - contacted them again since nothing other than an automated response had shown up 2020-07-05 - window to return product elapsed 2020-08-06 - received a response requesting more information I thought I had provided 2020-08-06 - got frustrated and ignored the message 2021-02-16 - finally stumbled upon the email again, and sent the information even though I thought it was redundant. At this point, I don't expect much to happen since so much time has passed, but who knows.
