Added Second Internal Hard Drive

I like this laptop really well. There are no problems. I wanted a second internal drive, so I ordered a 4 TB. I hadn't done this before. This laptop came with a place for a second hard drive, but no cable or caddy. I found the correct cable on Amazon by searching for an internal hard drive connector for HP 17t-cn000. Mine specifically is 17t-cn300. It was fairly easy to figure out. The connector has a little black piece that toggles open. Insert the cable with the blue side up, and then fold that black piece back down to compress the connector in place. I got the caddy elsewhere, just one with the rubber sides and open at the two ends. The hardest part of this is getting the case open. The screws are hidden under the rubber strips. And the case just snaps off.

The screen display is horrible

The computer itself works just like I wanted it to. But the display is just the worst. There is no perfect angle at which you can view it - even if I spend several minutes trying to find the right angle. I use it for Zoom workouts too, which means I am up and down so really nothing ever looks good. From anything but the "perfect" angle, the display looks like a picture covered by charcoal with weird blues and metallic blacks and nothing else to see. I am going to bite the bullet and return it and pay the restocking fee and search again. Also!!!!! I purchased it three weeks ago for $1649.00 and it is now for sale for $1119.00 but no one will talk to me about refunding the difference. Apparently different sellers. If I liked it enough to keep it, it would be cheaper to return it, pay the restocking fee, and reorder it. The display is this computer's worst feature.
