Easy to use, great quality!
By Jason Ling on Reviewed in the United States on June 23, 2023
This speaker set was very easy to set up and get using right away (which is such a relief; so many products nowadays have 20 pages of manuals to read through before you can get to using it). There is also a very straightforward instruction video, which made things even simpler. The speakers are able to sit as one long horizontal bar, or as two vertical standing bars, which gives an extra degree of freedom in arranging the speaker into the space available. It's also a pretty compact speaker so it doesn't take up that much room. We decided to use the speaker for a desktop computer (pictured), which has a 35" ultrawide monitor that does not have its own audio output. The Bluetooth, aux, and optical cable options work for computers. The HDMI option didn't work for the computer since HDMI ARC seems to be specific to TVs. In any case, we didn't need to use that option since the other options work well. Note: all the required cables for each of these connection options are provided with the speaker, including an aux-to-component cable for more old-school connections. The remote that's provided with the speaker allows for very easy controls and switching which connection to use - a handy feature if you wanted to keep multiple devices/backup connections, for example. Sound quality and dynamic (volume) range are great as well! The only minor issue is that sound seems to occasional cut out for a split second while gaming (specifically, the sound effect during the opening and closing of the options menu sometimes is not transmitted??), although I'm not sure if that is specific to the game. When listening to music or watching videos though, there are no problems at all. Overall, a pretty nice speaker!

low quality sound, fragile item
By Maestro on Reviewed in the United States on August 10, 2023
I purchased this soundbar with high hopes, expecting an upgrade to my audio setup. However, I've been thoroughly disappointed with the quality of this product. From the moment I unboxed it, I noticed how fragile it felt to the touch. It's as if a slight breeze could cause it to fall apart. This level of fragility is unacceptable for a product that's meant to be used in a home entertainment setup. The most critical aspect, the sound quality, was shockingly subpar. The sound produced by this soundbar was tinny, lacked depth, and had no bass whatsoever. It's like listening to audio through a cheap, outdated speaker system. I tried adjusting the settings, but no amount of tinkering could salvage the audio experience. It's unfortunate that a soundbar, a device designed to enhance audio, failed so miserably in this fundamental aspect. Moreover, the overall construction of the soundbar left me baffled. The materials used feel cheap, and the build quality is severely lacking. It's hard to believe that this product passed any sort of quality control. The lack of attention to detail is evident, from the flimsy buttons to the poorly placed connectors. In addition to the poor sound and build quality, I found the setup process to be needlessly complicated. The instructions provided were vague, and I had to spend way too much time trying to figure out how to get it to work with my existing setup. This added frustration to an already disappointing experience. Overall, this soundbar has been a complete letdown. It's unfortunate that I wasted my hard-earned money on a product that fails to deliver on its promises. I would strongly advise anyone considering this soundbar to look elsewhere for a quality audio solution. I regret this purchase and wish I had invested in a reputable brand instead.

The MZEIBO TV Sound Bar isn't all that bad for the price. Now granted I got this on a prime day special...overall it sounds great and looks stylish. Only real issue I have is the remote seem to only work pointing directly at it's receiving point and has to be at a close range. Surely not a deal breaker as they do sound decent. Totally recommend not that bad of a deal...

Just now unboxed the device and set it up. Lots of cables, wires, and other doodads in the box. No batteries for the remote, however. NOTE: Turn off BOTH the TV and the soundbar then plug in the HDMI/ARC connection and restart or the device won't be recognized. Pros: Lots of options for connections (HDMI/ARC, optical, composite AUX, bluetooth). Can be used as a soundbar or upright speakers. Include basic mounting brackets. Relatively inexpensive. Cons: Shiny black plastic case shows fingerprints. Sound options on remote ("Music Movie News") doesn't seem to change the sound at all. Most likeable feature? I don't have to use their remote. My TV remote controls the volume quite nicely, thank you very much. Saved me a couple batteries. Most annoying thing? The female slightly British voice coming out of the soundbar saying "Power On" and "Power Off" when turning on/off the TV. Not that it's female, or even that it's faintly British - it just really annoying to hear it every freakin' time the TV is turned on/off. I may come back here & edit this review after I've used it for a while. EDIT (One month later): Still working well but that power announcement is even more annoying. Looking for a less intrusive experience *(i.e., one that doesn't talk back when I press the power button).

Great sound, great speaker!

We needed a new speaker for the new TV in our bedroom. Found this inexpensive gem. At first I was skeptical, (you get what you pay for... right), but the skepticism was short lived when I hooked them up. Great sound, great quality! I love the fact that it is interchangeable between a sound bar, or 2 individual standing speakers! Also, being bluetooth, we can play music if we do not want to watch TV. Love it. Highly recommend it.

Loved the choice of a sound bar that transforms into 2 speakers, the sound is better than expected, even the bass is ok but there are 2 major issues, first the "power on / off" voice is really annoying and too high, even if the volume is low you will wake up everyone in the house when you turn the sound bar off, other thing that is the definitive deal breaker for me is that the dialogs get muted for some reason, if there is a slight silence between sentences the first part of the next sentence is muted, it only happens in ARC mode and i discover that when the volume is high the issue disappears, but if you want low volume in the night it's impossible to hear a complete conversation. Talked with Amazon customer service and got a replacement today, sadly the new one have the same issue, so it was not a defective unit, it appears that the sound bar is build that way for some reason, it's really a shame because i really like it. Update: Had to return it, talked with Mzeibo costumer service, they really tried to help me but there's nothing to be done, received a refund. It's a shame I really wanted it to work, the issue is only when connected to ARC and the volume is low, but the ARC connection is the main reason for me to buy this sound bar.

For the money this soundbar sounds good! Easy setup and really self explanatory. Have had no issues so far and it sounds so much better than the tv speakers. The only thing I don’t like is that the power cord is on the short side. I had to use a good extension cord to make it work where I wanted it placed for best sound. I’m using the sound bar as one piece. It’s not a Bose but it is good enough for me.

We received the MZEIBO TV Sound Bar, Sound Bars for TV Bluetooth 5.0 Soundbar 50W 32Inch Split Soundbars on time an in good condition. We hooked them up and discovered one of the speakers was not working. We tried trouble shooting the issue and finally emailed the company. The responded quickly with suggestion. After troubleshooting it was clear there was an issue. The company quickly sent us a replacement set at no charge. I am very please with the sound quality and the ease of setting up. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again.

TLDR: I'm sure there are worse sound bars out there, but even at the "discounted" price of 50% off for $65 instead of $130 (I put discounted in quotations because there is literally no way this is even remotely close to the quality of being near a $130 price), there are so many better options available. I rarely write negative reviews, and I'll say this soundbar is at least passable at best, but spend your money elsewhere. I have never really used surround sound systems or a soundbar until a year or so ago when I was offered a wide selection of different products to choose from as a reward from my company for hitting my 5 year milestone. One of the options was an iLive sound bar and I thought, what the heck I'll give it a try. It completely changed my experience of watching movies at home. You don't realize how much better sound quality can be until you experience it. So I decided to get another soundbar when I bought myself a new Vizio TV for my bedroom, because even though the TV is great, the speakers in it are pretty low quality. I don't use my bedroom TV nearly as often and my living room one, and on top of that I am unfortunately a procrastinator as well, so by the time I got around to setting this the 30 day return window had already passed. It's not terrible by any means, but from my first soundbar experience with the iLive brand, I had much higher expectations and was fairly disappointed with this one when I got it setup. The sound quality is average, I'm pretty tech savvy but the setup for it was far from simple and I imagine could be quite annoying and frustrating for a lot of people, the remote is essentially worthless might as well just throw it away, and the volume adjustment is just straight up weird. It goes up and down in increments of like 8 or 9 (can't remember exact number). So for example one volume press up goes from 0 to 9, then 9 to 18, etc. Makes no sense. Just, why?
Sound is good.

I almost returned it. It took a bit to figure it but I’m not subtracting a star for that. I separated the bar into two separate bars to stand on either side of the TV. Only one speaker would work which defeats the purpose of separating them. I had to put it back together as one bar. I bought it specifically for the feature of separating them. That’s the reason for 4 stars. The sound has cut out a few times for a few seconds which isn’t a major flaw but could become annoying. The remote does not work so I have them for a new one. The sound is good except sometimes it will get very low and then the next scene it will get very high. Part or all of that could be from the TV. I did not have that issue with my last sound bar though. The sound is the reason I decided to keep it. But, if there’s one more issue, it’s going back
