Great affordable paper towel holder!

Assembly is a piece of cake. The weight of the base is enough to keep holder from toppling over when you pull off a sheet and is enough to keep the holder from sliding most of the time. If you use a paper towel brand like Viva where the sheets are tightly wound and kind of stick together, then you won't get as perfect a one-hand use as you might with other less tightly wound brands, but even when using Viva towels, I've been very satisfied. Appearance with the stainless steel is nice, and I really love the felt on the bottom of the base to keep my counter from getting scratched. Overall, I would highly recommend this paper towel holder, especially at this affordable price!

Definitely moves

Yes, its weighted, but not by much. Every time I go to remove a sheet of paper towel, the holder moves. Certainly not what I thought I was buying. I've tried to like it for a few days now, but the fact that it moves when I remove a sheet of towel has now frustrated me to the point its time to return and look for something else. I will admit, I like the color and it looks good on the counter, but as far as functionality of staying put, its disappointing.
