I love these to keep our bearded dragon warm at night. You don’t have to worry about lights at night, they keep your beardie warm and I have never had one blow out like other bulbs.

Not useful in a chicken coop

Decided to try some of these in my girl's coop. Usually only use heat when the temps get down near single digits and thought these might be safer than the big red bulbs. Unfortunately while they get too hot to touch they radiate very little heat. Might be fine in a very small space but are useless in my coop. I'm going to try them in my well house and see how that works.
