iHome 100W GaN Charger

Summary: Got this so that when I bring my work laptop home, I do not need to bring the power block (which involves disconnecting it from under the desk, connected to the docking station). Observations: Gallium Nitride (GaN) chargers are more expensive than the older technology.  GaN is more efficient (less heat) and smaller in size.  Generally the less heat, the longer a product will last, as well as being safer (less chance of fire due to overheating). Recommendation: Two of the common laptop sizes are 60W and 100W. If space and budget allow, you would want to get the bigger 100W. Here's why: a 60W charger pushing out 60W is running at 100% (heat > less life); whereas a 100W pushing 60W is only running at 60%, which should result in longer life. That's at least the general theory. The downsize is the 100W will be physically bigger, and will draw a little more power. Pros: Great fit & finish; 60W (three port) capability. Cons: No cable included; while iHOME has about 36 products offered, 26 are USB C charger related, most are newer with less than 50 ratings/reviews, so no longer term reliability data from reviews; cost as compared to similar 100W chargers (average cost is $60, as compared to $80). Conclusion: At $80, rating this 3-stars (cost, unproven reliability). For comparison, the ANKER listed below is $60, and has 1400 ratings/reviews.
