Genkinno Cordless Robotic Pool Vacuum Cleaner (Open Box)

So i really like robot pool vaccum. It eliminates the need to run long hoses on the surface of the pool. Having long hoses is not as pleasing in the eye. Plus it catches tiny bugs and debris which then doesn’t get sucked up by the vacuum because it stays on the hose/surface, or even the wall skimmer. First things first, if you have rounded pool bottom, make sure the p1 you’ll get has the most updated firmware. I got a unit with an older firmware and my p1 just keeps gliding through the walls and eventually tipping over when it gets to the surface. Second, depending on how dirty the pool floor gets, you will need to empty the filter tray after every use. Third, I do find myself recharging the unit after every use. It runs for about 2-3 hours. And charging takes about 3-4 hours. So what I’m really saying is that robotic pool vacuums are pretty high maintenance. Oh the replacement unit I got from the vendor (there is no way to update the firmware, unit has to be replaced) worked for about a couple months and then it just stopped working. Had 2 issues, one was fixable (wont charge) but the 2nd issue it was a permanent problem where the spinning mechanism just wont spin at all. I think its the spinning mechanism for the wheels to moved forward/backwards. I have to say the vendor/support was very responsive and provided troubleshooting video instructions. They were also nice enough to send a 3rd replacement unit under warranty.
