It was hard to decide the stars I should choose as there were some very positive things and then one that was very problematic. I love the step ins, this shoe provided good support, and was good for walking. They also looked as if they were typical ties rather than slip ins. However, I normally wear an extra wide and don't have sizing issues. However, these shoes, ordered as extra wide, were very tight, especially across the toe box. I thought they might loosen some after a wear or two, but that never happened. They stayed tight, I kept trying, but they never loosened up. I finally gave up on them as every time I wore them, I couldn't wait to take them off due to the tightness making my feet uncomfortable. I did see comments on this in other reviews before I bought them, but didn't think I would have that issue as long as I could get the extra wide that I always wear. I got the extra wide, but they just were not wide enough.
