Sole separating after one month of wear

I love the fit and look of these boots, but I’m shocked the the soles on both shoes have begun to separate after only one month of wear. I expected better quality for such an expensive shoe. Unfortunately the amz return window closed, and ECCO wants the shoe shipped to them and 5-6 weeks to decide if they want to honor the warranty. Total bummer and crap experience.
