Redmond Earthpaste

I have been searching for the best fluoride free/chemical free toothpaste and this brand is the only brand that I trust. I am 54 and have been having issues with sensitive gums, soars on my tongue and other areas of my mouth. Also my gums have been receding badly in some areas. I have gone organic and chemical free since about 5 years ago and couldn't be happier with the decision. I started reading about fluoride by accident found out through the Fluoride Action Network how poisonous fluoride is not only to our mouth but in our water. I decided to get off fluoride and the other horrible chemicals because of all the problems that I was having including dry mouth and burning when I used listerine. I also buy products from Bubble and Bee Organics and the only toothpaste they sell is this brand. Go to their website and they will explain why they chose this brand. At first it's really different using a natural toothpaste because it doesn't foam which is a good thing. My only complaint, with the first order, was that it was a bit stiff and seemed somewhat dry and not creamy but worked great. I noticed that it did leave a bit of a paste film so I now first put warm water on my brush, then brush throughly, then I rinse the brush with warm water and rinse my mouth with warm water too. Then I use a clean rinsed brush with warm water and brush again to get rid of the film. Warm water definitely helps. Decided to buy the four pack to try all the flavors. There are four of us at home and we all switch and we like all the flavors. Our favorites are the peppermint and wintergreen. The cinnamon is not strong at all. I did notice when I re-ordered that the paste was much better and creamier which means maybe this four pack is older and dried out a little bit. The next time I bought some I ordered the two pack from a different vendor and it was nice and creamy. I have also bought some at Bubble and Bee Organics. My only complaint is I wish it came with a flip top cap instead of a screw on cap. Once I started using this toothpaste my mouth within two days felt so much better. It was amazing how my gums felt. It didn't hurt to floss. The areas where my gums were messed up from pregnancy gingivitis actually started healing and growing back!!! I was shocked! No more sores in my mouth or on my tongue. It is obvious that my gums receding was caused by fluoride and these chemicals and not from brushing too hard. I am just blown away how brain washed we are into thinking that fluoride and these other chemicals are safe! My son just went and had a checkup and they said his gums and teeth looked great. No cavities and no pocketing between the teeth and gums. I also got rid of the Listerine chemical bath that I was using. No more dry mouth. Don't bother trying any other toothpaste because I did my homework and so did Bubble and Bee Organics and stop whining that it looks like poop or it doesn't foam. IT'S NOT SUPPOSE TO FOAM!!! I also realized that during my pregnancies my doctor said that I needed to take fluoride supplements because the town I lived it didn't have fluoride in the water!!! He said that it could help prevent spina bifida. Once I have realized how horrible fluoride is my heart sank. This was a LIE!!! Sadly I trusted my doctor! I took the supplements during both my pregnancies. I tried to find out more about fluoride supplements and it's not good. There is no evidence it helps prevent spina bifida actually it does the opposite. You should never take fluoride supplements or ingest fluoride at all. The town I lived in, Livermore, California did the right thing by not adding fluoride to the water. Thank God because I lived there for 15 years and drank the water. Go and check out the Fluoride Action Network and donate. We need to get rid of the fluoride out of the water supply. Other countries have removed fluoride from their water supply so there is no excuse why we still are poisoning the water. The only other thing I use beside this toothpaste are Taste-T-Picks which I have found here at Amazon. All Natural and made in the USA. They are infused with peppermint oil and worked fantastic. The only other item I did use was the Biotene oral rinse because of the dry mouth but I also no longer need it after I quit fluoride/listerine/chemicals. I am just amazed how great our teeth and gums feel and look since getting off fluoride and chemicals. Also, staying away from baking soda/peroxide. I use to use these toothpaste products and it was horrible. Bubble and Bee also talks about Hydrogen peroxide on their website. I was told about fluoride awhile ago and was skeptical but it's totally true. Any dentist that doesn't admit that fluoride is bad for you, is a bad dentist and is bought and paid for by the fluoride/chemical/dental hygiene companies. Don't you want to break free from these chemicals? I am glad I did!
