As a single person, this is the blender of my dreams and I love the white color. Yes, it's damn noisy, but most blenders are. It's so efficient, cutting blending time significantly when compared with my Oster Versa. The smaller cup is so much easier to clean. One gripe is that the lid doesn't click on reliably and you have to fidget with it to make sure that water doesn't shoot out when started up.

Doesn’t blend

I make a smoothie every morning and this machine just does not blend well. I have to turn off and on and use spoon to mix things up and turn it back on then it finally blends. This is my 2nd machine very disappointed

I use this vitamix for so many things, I’m really happy with how well it works so far. I will say at first I thought the motor was burning anytime I used the high setting because of the slight smell but Vitamix informed me that is normal as that setting is designed to make soups and other hot like foods (it creates friction in order to heat the liquid).

I'm so happy to have a vitamix again! I had a 5200 which I gave to my granddaughter. I tried a ninja but there's just no comparison. This one seems to be noisier than my first and I've only used it once but I'm sure I will be just as happy with this one and what a great price for this bundle!

What is the point in having 1 2 3 or 4 as blending speed? They don’t do much at all. Speed 5 is the normal speed of a blender that I am used to. Then when you put it on full blast you can smell the motor burning. I do not want this blender. Smh.
