Tripp Lite Cat6a 10G Ethernet Cable

I was surprised to discover that cable category ratings is an honor system. There’s a lot of cable out there purported to be cat6/cat6a that is really just cat5/cat5e with cat6 markings on it. Thankfully, this is proper cat6a patch cable. You can see in the picture how much thicker and more rigid it is compared to the grey cat5e. I am getting 10Gb over these cables. Note that as this is stranded cable rather than solid core, it’s considered patch cable, and you want to avoid long runs with this stuff. For longer permanent installations you’ll want solid core, which is much thicker and more rigid.
