only fire Stainless Steel Cooking Grate

Nice heavy stainless steel grate that is a very poor replacement for Akorn Jr. OEM grate which has 6 slots that let it rest on the firebox. Aside from being 1/2” in diameter too small, this rests on top of the grate tabs which lets food get on the seal. It’s almost as if the manufacturer measured the diameter of the OEM grate ignoring the slots which let it rest deeper into the grill itself which has a smaller diameter. So aside from being too high it shifts around too much. Really just a poorly fitting round grate. I’d love a stainless steel replacement but for now I’m sticking with the cast iron OEM grate.
