Great portability and fast charging

This Talk Works charger has a compact and useful cable management design that makes it easy to travel with and share. The charging pad and lengthy cable are both housed inside of a circular TPU carrying case. The cable wraps around the charging pad and neatly tucks inside the case to give a nice clean puck-like appearance when not in use. The six-foot cable has a USB-C connector that works with the 20-watt Apple fast charger or other USB-C fast charging adapters. It can also be plugged into a PC or powered USB port but the adapter is by far the fastest charging method. My wife was impressed by how quickly it charged her iPhone 13 Pro Max through a case without a charging ring. It’s compatible with iPhone 12 and newer, as well as AirPods but does not work with Apple Watch. The charger works well with our cases, even those without internal charging rings as mentioned above. It gets a little warm during charging but not hot.

Handy and useful, but not the best

I love Talk Works products; I’ve never heard of them before, but I’ve gotten a few of their items and they all work really well, so I was excited to try out this charger. Unfortunately, this product is kind of a miss. It had a unique, cool design - basically, a MagSafe charger is inside of a silicone ring, and you can wrap the excess cord away and tuck it in the charger to hide it. It’s very neat and portable. That being said, using it is kind of a pain. The magnetic connection is so strong on the puck that it always pops out of the silicone holder when I remove my phone. Also, the charger runs really hot - not sure if the heat dissipation is affected by the silicone, but it is an issue. Overall, it’s ok. It has a nice design to it, but it isn’t without its flaws.
