Amazing bike for the price
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2023
I purchased this bike for my 73 year old mother. She had knee surgery a year ago and retired shortly after. She had gotten incredibly inactive since retirement and I was looking for a way to get her moving some without putting stress on her knee as she has some issues with the IT band being too tight after the surgery. This bike is great. It's very sturdy and was fairly easy to put together. It took me less than an hour to put it together by myself. It would be even easier if you had a second person to hold parts at times. The bike rides smoothly and has a good variance for the height adjustment. I was pleasantly surprised that the tension actually adds tension to the pedals. My experience with less expensive bikes has always been that the tension knob is just for decoration. That is not the case with this one. One of the main reasons I purchased this one was because it can be folded up but I've found that it takes up such a small amount of space that we can leave it out in the corner of the living room at all times. I'm not it would take up much less space if folded up than it does now. It also doesn't seem like it'd be easy to fold up and store but since I haven't tried I can't rate for that. At the end of the day, this bike is well worth the money in my opinion and experience!

Sturdy and quite, but uncomfortable and rust.
By AmazonCustomer on Reviewed in the United States on November 27, 2023
I've been using this exercise bike regularly for the past four months, and here's what I've observed: Pros: The bike has a sturdy build and operates quietly. If any noise arises from the bike's components, further tightening may be required. For instance, the pedals might be challenging to secure fully, but it's necessary for a quiet ride. Cons: Oversized Seat: The seat is overly large, causing discomfort to my thighs during cycling (I am 5 10, and 176 lbs). The customer service was not particularly helpful. When inquiring about alternative seat options or what to look for in replacements, their response was vague, merely confirming the seat's replaceability. When I asked for part links that I could buy from or specific seat types I could look for from other bike stores, they did not reply. Rust Formation: Notably, some parts began rusting within two months, despite normal usage and storage in a dry area, as shown in the attached pictures. Customer service suggested it was due to sweat, advising immediate cleaning post-exercise. However, these parts are situated directly below where one sweats, and it's reasonable to expect an exercise bike to withstand sweat exposure. Given the bike's intricate foldable design, cleaning these folding areas after each use is impractical, indicating a potential design flaw. Limited Adjustability: The bike only offers one adjustable feature, the seat height, which is understandable given its price point. Nevertheless, regardless of seat height adjustments, the bike's structure does not fit to my leg length, resulting in knee discomfort. It might be worthwhile to invest a bit more in a bike with greater adjustability. Insufficient Resistance: Even at the highest setting of 8, the resistance is not challenging enough to elevate my heart rate significantly. I'm not an avid cyclist; I simply cycle for fitness. Yet, pumping heart rate above 150 bpm is very difficult, unlike my experience with non-foldable stationary bikes.
