The motherboard does not come packaged in the box shown, the one with the board's model number on it. It comes packaged in a generic red and black MSI box, which suggests to me that this is either a refurb or a factory second. After I unboxed the first one and got no response from it I returned it and received an identical one. Neither one shows any indication of power, no fans no lights and no output. Both were shipped in the boxes shown, inside of a much larger box with no padding. The surface of the inner box is visibly scuffed. Go buy on newegg, sure it ships slower but it definitely would have saved me the time I wasted on two returns. EDIT: I just got my Newegg order in 2 days, so I guess it doesn't always ship slower.

Renewed motherboard from amazon, no option to choose MS version booting off Microsoft USB stick. Auto chooses Home and activates. Want to choose pro, but can't. Box said woot.com I want to use my pro key when I install windows , but do not get the option. I'm guessing somehow I got an embedded key in motherboard? Its just an MSI 460m pro -a. I thought only vendors can embed keys, so maybe its from a prebuilt system? I did NOT sign in with a microsoft account and it still was activated home oemdp. This is a new system. New "renewed " msi board from amazon. New SSD, with a New original USB image of windows .
