I Love This Thing
By dk3000 on Reviewed in the United States on August 5, 2023
I normally use an umbrella when I go to the beach because I usually take solo trips to the beach. This tent is definitely a 2-3 person tent (two adults, one child). I believe 3 teens/small adults could fit. It is big. It's easy to set up and break down. It is not easy to put back in the bag. There are green cords in the stake bag. I think they are to be used to tie the tent back up. I noticed them after I had already forced the tent back in the bag lol. Please pay attention to the folding of the tent when you first open it and then try to fold it the same way when putting it back up. Very easy to follow set up and take down instructions. The instructions are pictures, love picture directions. If your beach is super windy I can see that this type of tent may be problematic because it's open and big. But if you have a cooler and use the stakes and fill the sand bags I would think it can withstand most wind conditions. The beaches I frequent are not that windy so I know wind will not be an issue. Before this tent, I unfortunately bought and returned a blue body glove tent. I thought the tent was amazing until I actually took it to the beach. The tent had ZERO ventilation. It felt like we were sitting in an easy bake oven on the beach. It put a damper on our trip. This tent is open, which is necessary when sitting in 90 degree weather. I'm so happy with this tent, I am writing the review before I have used it at the beach, but I can tell I will love it. I put it up and took it down twice in my living room. I set it up alone. If you are going to be a solo adult on a beach trip for kids, you can set this up without issue and have the kids fill the sand bags. I plan to visit the beach within the next month, I will update once I officially take it out. I bought on sale for very low, and the price has dropped even more since I bought it. I'm happy with the price I paid.Update: Took the beach to the beach. Loved it. It was the windiest beach day I've had in years. LOL. Stayed there for 4 hours, the final hour the tent collapsed due to the wind. My beach buddy and I were still able to sit in the tent even with the front collapsed. I almost sent the tent back to Amazon but then I realized that there were 4 extra stakes in the bag and 4 green strings. My beach buddy and I thought they were extra stakes in case we lost the other 4 we used. We were wrong. I read the directions when I came back home and noticed that it said guy lines were included with the set. If you look at my earlier review I thought the green strings/guy lines were to be used to tie the tent down and put back in the bag lol. Guy lines are used to secure the tent in wind and provide more stability. I'm going to keep the tent and head back to the beach and use the guy lines provided to me. If the tent collapses with the guy lines, I will return. There were no directions on how to use the lines. I think there is an assumption that most people know what they are. YOUTUBE guy lines and you will find tons of helpful videos. I still love the tent. It provided great shade in very hot weather for two adults. Very open which allowed us to stay cool. The tent completely blocked the sun. I'm going to do another update when I head back to the beach which will be within the next couple of weeks. I hope it's windy so I can see if the tent can truly withstand wind.

DO NOT BUY THIS BEACH TENT
By stephen r burnett on Reviewed in the United States on August 18, 2023
What a mistake, This tent broke in the first weekend of use, I have been dealing with Customer service for5 weeks, over 50 emails, after jumping through all their hoops we were told once UPS scanned the return they would send us a new tent, once we did that, we were informed the same day that the tent was no longer available, they referred us to Amazon, who was absolutely terrible, I spoke with Romelyn and then a "supervisor" Hemant Both refused to help out their customer, Now we have no tent and no refund, Amazon says we should have never dealt with the manufacturer If we hadn't they would have helped us? I did what I was told and lost everything. Amazon says We are out of options. Even though Amazon started this by telling us we had to contact the manufacturer and we did, its because of that Amazon won't help us.
