Excellent for my one car garage
By JS on Reviewed in the United States on December 12, 2022
Wasn't sure if this unit was going to cut it. But was very surprised and pleased. I started with my garage at 50 degrees, and ran this unit, checking every 30 minutes. At the first 30 minutes, the garage went up 4 degrees, by 1 hour it was up 8 and slowed down over the next two intervuls. by 2 hours runtime, the garage was up to 63 degrees. Now, my garage is a little insulated, a 9 ft suspended ceiling with some insulation on top of it. but i expected heat loss just the same. My next experiment will be for my basement. It did say outdoor use, but i think garage and basement are both acceptable use cases. The base is very sturdy, which makes the unit less likely to tip over. And the head can be adjusted for height. When i was cooking, i raised the head a little so as not to walk into it, and man that was nice to have radient heat keeping you warm while cooking with it in the 40s outside.

Useless as a heater.
By Amazon Customer on Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2023
I recently purchased this heater to replace an existing one that’s dead. Shipping was quick, assembly was simple enough. However the cord clips are useless and all broke, and no matter what setting it’s on ( 1,2, or 3) the elements get orange, but there’s no useful temp change unless your hand is on the grill by the elements. This is a total waste of money, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. I’m returning the useless garage ornament. Go find a forced air fan system, or a better quality unit from someone else that actually does what it says it will.
