Nice planter

Went together very easily but be careful of sharp edges. Has been in our yard for a year now and it's holding up well and still looks nice.

Better overall product design needed
By Philip Troutman on Reviewed in the United States on April 2, 2023
From the original pictures, this garden bed looked great. I was excited to use these instead of my wooden beds since they would be taller and longer lasting. Longevity was definitely was one of my top priorities. Upon receiving the beds, I could tell the corners of the long panels had been slightly crunched/bent in. Thankfully, the metal was thin enough to bend back. I continued to take off the protective plastic covering. As noted by other reviews, this was very time consuming and tedious. Other garden beds that I've purchased had this protective film as well, but they came off incredibly easier than this bed. While not difficult, it's tedious and absolutely adds time to the overall assembly. Once the film was off, I constructed the beds. Even with only one person, they were put together pretty quickly. The instructions gave clear indication of steps and such that helped here too. - What was absolutely missing in my mind was washers. The nuts/bolts went together and held the frame together, but the holes in the frames we're just slightly smaller than the nut hardware. Given that these need to be tightened well and that the large amount of dirt would be constantly pushing on the frame, I do not believe these will hold up to time. I added my own washers to ensure longevity and secure construction. - The next thing that's along the same line and a very big issue is the support bars that get mounted between the frame walls. These were so incredibly flimsy and the ends even had to be bent just to mount them. These are not of good quality and I also do not see these lasting, which is another very important component to keeping these beds in working condition. - Next is how the long panels meet up with the bed corners. These are separate pieces. The panels are fully corrugated from end to end and the bed corners are completely flat. While they can be mounted together at contact points, this design leaves gaps for dirt/moisture to wash out of the beds corners. It seems the corrugated panels should have had flattened ends to secure flush with the corners. - Lastly and not all that big of a deal, but the beds come with anchor pins. These are pathetically short and I'd never expect them to actually hold the bed in place if I was purely relying on them. The should have been longer and heavier gauge. With all of these issues, I'm left disappointed and do not see these beds providing the life span that was advertised - at least without adding your owner additional hardware to make up for these design shortcomings. ***May 2025 update. Just as expected, various things are not holding up well. Many edges and exposed areas have notable rust. The paint/coating looks to be flaking, which will result in more rust and an upcoming replacement. Roughly means this only lasts 3-4 seasons before needing replaced.
